Cannot go ontop of Bedrock in Nether anymore.

It seems that I cannot get back up above bedrock in the Nether. Everytime I do it keeps telling me "Sent you to a safe location back below..."
Now, for all of you asking why would someone want to go up there in the first place, I use it in my Nether base to quickly get back to town since "we used to" be able to place a block and auto TP'ed to Nether Spawn.
Anyone else having this issue or is it a bug?

Aikar must've fixed it. It used to be a bug, actually, this is a fix.

The sending you back to town part was a temp fix to a bug of getting back up there. TECHNICALLY, it was cheating to use that to go back to town so quickly, but we didn't really punish for it since getting up there was sometimes an accident that player's couldn't avoid.

It's currently acting exactly how it should.
