  1. Read da title.
  2. Yes.

Step #1: Log in to EMC
Step #2: Click the dropdown next to your name in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Step #3: Select Options Section, uncheck "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply"
Step #4: Click the "Save" button.

  3. There's no Options section.
  4. Alert prefences is what he meant
  5. Actually, it's preferences. I got it fixed. Now to delete the 4 pages of threads I'm watching...:p
  6. Thanks for pointing that out. Doesn't matter how many times you proof read a post... See if the following works for you.

Step #1: Log in to EMC
Step #2: Click "Preferences" on the dropdown next to your name in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Step #3: On the Browsing Preferences, under the Options Section, uncheck "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply"
Step #4: Click the "Save" button.
  7. I already fixed it, but the thing you uncheck is under preferences not browsing preferences.
  8. Unfortunately, I registered with an account I don't often check and had several hundred alerts in it before I noticed and looked for this setting.
  9. Ok, ok. Browsing References page. Good thread question. I'm sure other people have wondered about this.
