  1. Hey guys!

A lot of us don't eat the way we should or exercise as much as we should. Others might be fit and still want to strive to be better. Its hard to keep to a plan though. You can intend to eat healthier and exercise more, but a lot of the time it doesn't work out. I figured that when you have someone to let down other than yourself, you will tend to not let them down. That is where this comes in. I challenge yee to make healthier choices and exercise more. Every night you will post any junk food you ate, and how much/how you exercised for the day. Anyone who didn't exercise or ate unhealthy will be publicly shamed jk xD, but I do think it will help people make healthier choices if they know they have to confess what they did at the end of the day. If someone misses a post 3 times in a row, I'll write up an encouraging PM and send it to them.

So, if you want to commit to a healthier lifestyle then just post below and I will add your name to the list. Though I only have like 7k, I am willing to put 5k up for some kind of prize thing I haven't worked out yet (donations/ideas very welcome).

  2. The only problem is, I have no shame.
I'm eating out of a giant bag of peanut M&Ms and I'm loving every piece
  3. Oooh! Oooh! Me! I ate approximately 3/4 of a small bag of Chex Mix (I like Chex Mix), and I exercised for a gym period in school, and I walked home, which took about 15-20 minutes. I am willing to confess this because, well, I could use a healthier lifestyle.

  4. Forgot to post last night- Update: 1
Exercise: did 1500+ strides on elliptical machine on max incline and resist
Junk Food: Blueberry muffin and some chocolate covered raisins
  5. Careful. You don't want to overwork muscles. That can be just as bad as not exercising at all.
  6. I agree, I've worked up to it though.

  7. Two people voted to participate and one posted
Let's try to get some more people interested, it kinda defeats the purpose if only a couple sign up :)
    Update 2:
Junk Food: couple hundred calories of valentines day
    Exercise: Somewhat prestigious P.E. challenge
  8. Uhhhh......I play video games for a reason.

  9. Just a small comment in general... Many people talk about healthy food and everything but honestly there is much more to it than that. A healthy food pattern isn't about only eating stuff which is "good for you", it's actually more about adding diversity to the stuff you eat.

So obviously its a good thing to be aware of what you're eating, but you shouldn't overdo things either way. Neither the "bad" or the "good" stuff. If you base yourself only on diet stuff and strive to eat as less fat as possible then yah... As bizarre as it may sound to some: that can also get you into trouble. Because us humans actually also need (small) amounts of fat to survive.

Bottom line: diversity is the name of the game here.
  10. Of course, but you can get fats through non-candy things like meat and nuts etc. I hope I'm not prompting people to become rabbits and just eat some lettuce or carrots per day. Do I need to change wording?

  11. Read this and looked down at my bowl of cut strawberries and bananas. I think that's the healthiest thing I've eaten this day. I also played a long 2 hour match of football as a mid-fielder. Probably burnt some calories and stuff from that. If this somehow qualifies me in this, then sign me up XD Starting from now on, no sweets (maybe once a while though...) and my daily dose of exercise!

  12. Eat your veggies kids, they're good for you.

In all seriousness, this sounds like a fun little thing. I might join in.
