Me? BANNED? No sir. I will never be banned, unless of course I say something in the forums that doesn't sit well with the staff. (IE arguing my point in a forum). I loathe griefers, hackers, and scammers, and will never be guilty of those. I simply stopped playing on the servers due to my new found interest in Feed The Beast and my waining interest in vanilla/economy MC.
If you're wondering about my shop, after a year of business, I have finally shut the doors for good. It still is there (for the moment) but my coffers are empty.
I have given all my mats to my good friend Gdomini2007x and he has integrated my mats into his shop, so if you are looking for a well stocked shop with good prices (MUCH lower than mine ever were!) I'd visit him as he has DOZENS of DC of new inventory that he got for free, so he has priced it very low.
Or you could try another friend of mines' shop, Silken_Thread, he runs a nice shop as well, and I cant say how much inventory he has, but he also has very reasonable prices.
Very few ppl know I've stopped playing at EMC since I haven't made it public, and from what I hear, "goodbye" threads are banned, which seems awfully communistic to me, but I understand why they did it (don't want to advertise people leaving, its bad for business).
EMC is still my favorite server hands down, and will always be my first MC home. I play FTB on a private server I run from my PC for myself and Gdomini2007x, but I still am on EMC's site frequently as I still have many good friends here.
Jacob, I don't think "everyone is leaving" is entirely accurate. I've been here about a year now, and people have been saying "everyones leaving" for as long as I have been here! lol
basically, what I boils down to is people get sick of the game, news games come out and their intrest is drawn to a new way to spend their time. I mean, really, I have very few games that I have played religiously for more than a YEAR, you know?
However, the SITE and the friends you make in the community, that endures. People have stopped playing MC but still come here to talk to friends and participate in the forums not because of MC but because of the site and community.
