  1. anyway i cant not say that microsoft did buy minecraft for 2.5 *(billion)* dollars and planning to call it microcraft im not afraid microsoft is not dumb they know what they are doing i wonder about 1.9 *(future)* sorry if i bore you i just have to say & will we get the 1.8 feature's in empire minecraft aka emc or will we wait till 1.9 come's out im curious
  2. At this time, we don't know. Bukkit is dead; a new plug-in software is under development from scratch to take its place.
The earliest we'll likely get more information is after Microsoft's purchase of Mojang closes which will be after this September.

  4. Try Glowstone? There are lots of other server programs out there.
  5. I am pretty sure what EMC has is a wee bit better than whatever Glowstone is lol.

  8. Eh whatever happens, I doubt Microsoft would be stupid enough to change an iconic game's name such as Minecraft to Microcraft or whatever in this case.
  9. true.... it doesn't mean they'll don't charge* for a "Minecraft II/2".... ((* by 'charge' I meant money wise))
  10. I don't actually see anything wrong with charging for it
  11. would you pay to have access to minecraft 2, when you already have minecraft?
what if they say that from 1.9 on you'll have to pay??

it's the not knowing what's next that makes this forum post go on and on and on.... even tho if they do it, charge for the new version to everyone, the community will be very mad...
  12. By the way there will be no Minecraft 2. It will go to 1.10 so on
  13. Not necessarily. Minecraft 2 could be a cross-platform game of Minecraft. Not saying they are working on it, but it could be possible.
